One of the most beautiful movies ever made by anyone – The Bucket List (The Story)

The Bucket List is one of the very few movies that have an actual meaning in it. This movie is about two complete strangers who meet at a hospital. These two people are from two completely different backgrounds. Their names are Edward (Anthony Hopkins) and Ray (Morgan Freeman). Edward is very rich man and owns the hospital in which the two of them meet and Ray is a car mechanic. Both the men suffer from cancer; however Edward doesn’t have a family, who would visit him often. Whereas Ray, had a wife, three children and a grandchild as well. Rays wife Virginia often came to meet Ray and was upset with the news of him suffering from cancer. As the movie continues the duo i.e. Ray & Edward become friends and then very good friends. They prepare a list of things they want to do before they die. And they go ahead and do those things. The list includes

1. Witness the most majestic thing in the world – The Himalayas

2. Help a total stranger for good

3. Kiss the most beautiful girl in the world

4. Roam around the world and lots of other things

Throughout the movie Edward is accompanied by his assistant who he calls Thomas or Tommy even though his name is Mathew. Thomas being the loyal assistant books tickets and does all arrangements for the duos to complete every task mentioned on the list. During their task completion process, it is unveiled that Edward has a daughter and he loves her a lot. However because she was upset with him, he never had the courage to talk to her. Ray tries to sort things out between the two but Edward gets furious and gives upon the things-to-do list and walks out. However, at the end of the movie its shown that Ray is on his death bed and three things are still left out, he asks Edward to do that and convinces him into talking to his daughter. He does that and finds out that he has a granddaughter, whom he kisses and cancels out the task which said “Kiss the most beautiful girl in the world”. And then the second last scene we see is that Edward cancels task no 2 in the list, which said “helping out a total stranger – Ray”. And then the last scene is of a man climbing the Himalaya, he is tommy who buries Edwards and ray ashes in a small container (different containers of course) with the list in between them. That’s again a wonderful scene in the movie. This movie surely inspires people to live every moment & enjoy every bit of it

THE DIRTY PICTURE

Oo La la Oo la la, Yes i simply love that song and i simply loved the movie too. The story of the movie is very typical, rags to riches and then fall down. However, what i loved about the movie, is the acting, Vidya Balan is absolutely fabulous, with her strong bindaas character & “I care a damn” attitude. The movie revolves around the story of a B-grade movie actress who believes that the entertainment industry loves skin shows, skimpy clothes, horny expressions & fleshy body& people want and like to see all of this on screen. She believes that she has the power rule the glamour world just by her looks & expressions, which she indeed does. She reaches the peak of success but is unable to manage it. She experiences love, lust, betrayal, jealousy, confidence, faith, regret & guilt and finally gives up on her life. She lives her life her way, by her rules & dies her way too... The dialogues of the movie are filthy but very well delivered; also bappi da has do

Desi Boyz

I usually catch upon some nice movies on weekends, today I saw desi boyz. I would rate the movie a 4/10. I liked the first half of the movie. The akshay-john pair worked more than akshay-chitrangada or john-deepika pairs.  Chitrangada Singh was not needed in the movie at all. Her role was squeezed into the movie, for no apparent reasons, she is introduced in the second half of the movie. Also, there are songs at unnecessary situations. John and Akshay have acted well as compared to Deepika & Chitrangada. The story is not that strong. It’s a typical Bollywood movie with no substance at all. If You have loads of time and want to kill it, go watch this movie, you’ll definitely waste 2.5 hours of your life out of which you may enjoy the first 45 min and the next few hours you would curse yourself to be seating in the theatre hall and watching the movie.  Anyways for guys, you can definitely watch this movie if you want to see sensual Chitrangada coz
